Don't Tread on Me - Gadsen Snake Metal Badge Hat
FUN FACT
Gadsen Flag
Designed in 1775, The Gadsen flag is one of, if not THE, most popular symbol of the American Revolution. The Continental Marines flew it as their motto flag as well for a time. The flag is named for Christopher Gadsen, a brigadier general in the Continental Army.
The snake is a timber rattlesnake which is native to the Americas, and like the bald eagle was a significant symbol to show a separate identity from the Old World.
